First start by inflating your balloon with air, helium, or whatever you are using to inflate your balloon.

3. Using Two Fingers

Next, take two fingers, sometimes the pointer and middle finger, sometimes the pointer and thumb, just figure out what feels most comfortable for you.

4. Stretch/Wrap Around Two Fingers

Next stretch out the neck of the balloon and wrap the neck around your two fingers.

Then flip your hand and take the lip of the balloon and go under and between your two fingers.

This can be a little tricky sometimes as your fingers may tend to stick to the balloon.

7. Pull The Knot Tight (Optional)

This is an optional step depending on what you are doing. For example, if you were using the knot to secure the balloon a balloon decorating strip.

8. Enjoy!

Balloons are an amazing passion of mine. I love the excitement they elicit from small children and grown adults alike. There is hardly such a medium of art that can be as versatile as the balloon. From the simple water balloon used daily during the hot summer months to balloon columns standing at attention at a doorway, or even a balloon arch encompassing a dance floor, one thing is for sure: balloons are amazing!
