Have you ever seen those big balloons blown up perfectly round with beautiful colors in coordinating colors? Those are bubble balloons.
What Are Bubble Balloons
Bubble Balloons are a type of plastic balloon made by Qualatex. Bubble Balloons are made of stretchy clear plastic and are shaped like a big beach ball. Bubble balloons come in 20” – 24” and a variety of different colors and printed designs. Bubble balloons can be filled with air or helium.
For more information on other types of balloons check out my post Balloon Types You Need To Know About here.
Steps To Properly Inflate Bubble Balloons
- Gather You Ingredients
- Open Package
- Attach Balloon To Helium Valve
- Inflate
- Keep Inflating
- Pinch Valve Closed
- Enjoy!

1. Gather Your Ingredients
- Bubble Balloon
- Helium Tank (Optional)
- Hand Pump (Optional)

2. Open Package
Open the Bubble Balloon package, and discard the little moisturizer packet. Unfold the Bubble Balloon. Bubble Balloons conveniently come with a string already attached.

3. Attach Balloon To Valve
Attach the nozzle of the balloon to the valve of either the helium tank or the hand pump.
Bubble Balloons can either be inflated with helium or with air.

4. Inflate
Begin inflating the balloon.

5. Keep Inflating
Many people feel hesitant to inflate Bubble Balloons fully because they fear the balloons will burst. If you can see wrinkles in the balloon, then the balloon is not fully inflated.
These balloons can really stretch. If you don’t believe me, check out my videos below where I purposely overinflate Bubble Balloons until they burst.

Seriously, keep inflating until all the wrinkles in the seams are gone. If you look closely at this picture you can still see small wrinkles at the seam.

6. Pinch Valve Closed
Bubble Balloons come with a valve already in the balloon. No need to tie these balloons closed like other types of balloons. All you have to do is pinch the neck of the balloon once it is fully inflated and the valve will close.

7. Enjoy!
