Whether you are a seasoned balloon professional or a newbie to the world of balloons you may be asking yourself about the many balloon industry events, training, and conventions. I have compiled a list of some of the most common industry events, training, and conventions involving the balloon industry. Some of these events are focused more on related fields but still offer balloon training, hopefully, you can find something that suits you and your needs.

Balloon Industry Events
Balloon Arts Convention Italy (BACI)
Balloon Arts Convention Italy (BACI) is a five-day balloon convention dedicated to the training of balloon professionals. The latest Balloon Arts Convention Italy (BACI) was held March 24-28, 2023 in Milan, Italy.
Balloon Boss Summit
Balloon Boss Summit is a balloon convention by BalloonCoach.com. The next Balloon Boss Summit is scheduled for November 5-9, 2023 in Orlando, Florida USA. Registration for this event is $2997.
Ballooniversity
Ballooniversity is a two-day balloon workshop for balloon decorators. The most recent Ballooniversity event was August 10-13, 2022 in Athens, Georgia USA.
Balloon Adventure
Balloon Adventure with Jackie Ochitwa, CBA is a one-day learning event on November 16, 2023, from 9 am – 4 pm at burton + BURTON Headquarters in Bogart, Georgia, USA. Available for retailers only for $150.
Brilliant With Balloons
Brillant With Balloons is a one-day event featuring Sempertex balloons. The event will be held on September 27, 2023. Registration is $150 for retailers only.
FLOAT
FLOAT Convention is a balloon convention focused on intermediate and advanced balloon decorators, held in Lambard, Illinois USA every two years. The next FLOAT Convention is scheduled for March 10-14 2024 with pre-convention activities starting March 8th, 2024.
Gemar Day
Gemar Day is a tour of balloon classes and events hosted by Gemar balloons. Gemar Day has a Europe tour and an American tour.
Globo Con
Globo Con is a Latin inspired decorating convention for “balloons, fabrics, natural flowers, neon signs, wood signs, marketing, business coaching, and much more” hosted by Qualatex balloons. The next Globo Con will be September 19-12, 2024 Garden Grove, California, USA. The presale price for registration is $749.
International Balloon Convention
The International Balloon Convention is a three-day balloon convention hosted by Sempertex balloons.
Japan Balloon Artists Network (JBAN)
The Japan Balloon Artists Network has been the longest running balloon convention. This year’s 25th JBAN convention will be held at in Tokyo on July 3-5, 2023
Nozzle Up
Nozzle Up is a three day all inclusive balloon event. The next Nozzle Up will be October 20-22, 2023 in Belgium.
Party Industry Event (PIE)
The Party Industry Event is a three-day event put on by NABAS The Balloon And Party Professionals Association focused on the balloon and party industry. The next event is scheduled for October 15-17, 2022 in Essex, UK.
Q Corner Convention (World Balloon Convention)
The Q Corner Convention, formerly known as the World Balloon Convention is a balloon convention by Qualatex. The most recent Q Corner Convention was held in person on July 26-28 2022 in Orlando Florida USA. Q Corner Convention will also be holding a virtual balloon convention in October 10-13, 2022.
Tuftex Experience 2023
The Tuftex Experience was July 9-12 2023, in Cleveland Ohio. Registration for this event is $599. This event is sold out.
UK And Ireland Bubble Tour
The UK And Ireland Bubble Tour is a Qualatex half-day event for learning all about Bubble Balloons.
Waikiki Balloon Festival
Balloon Twisting And Entertaining
ACE Austin Convention for Entertainers
This three-day event is November 13th-16th, 2023, and will include shopping in the vendor room, and entry to the showcase, and a dance party. A three-day pass is $325 or you can get a one-day pass between $135 and $160 depending on the day.
Balloon Cruise Convention
Balloon Cruise is from November 27, 2023 – December 1, 2023, leaving from Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Florida Super Jam
Florida Super Jam is an event focusing on balloon twisting, decorating, and entertainment.
Kapital Kidvention
Kapital Kidvention is a four-day family friendly educational convention focusing on everything for children entertainers. The next Kapital Kidvention is scheduled for January 11-14, 2023. Registration is $350 for an adult if registered before October 16, 2022.
Twist And Shout
Twist And Shout is a yearly balloon convention focusing on balloon twisting for balloon entertainers and balloon artists. The next Twist And Shout balloon convention is scheduled for Feb 28 – March 3 2024 in Chicago, IL USA. Early registration is $375 or you can purchase individual days at $150 each.
